The power of content is that it is the main tool used by businesses on their website to inform and guide their potential customers on why their product or service is the best. It is essentially a sales pitch. But what if there’s a grammatical error in the sales pitch? What if there is something unclear? What if a part of it suddenly is missing? These can seriously damage credibility.

I once saw an education website with a spelling error in an article. This will seriously turn-off potential students.

A huge factor in traffic is the overall performance of the website. If it loads slowly, there is a higher chance of traffic leaving the website. So make sure to check website load speeds on a monthly basis. If it appears to be slowing down, check the hosting numbers or uploaded images as they might affect load speeds.

At the same time, take a look at how the website is performing on mobile phones. Is the content being displayed properly? Is the menu working well? All of these performance issues can affect the user experience which can make them leave.

Update and Secure

Make sure that all the installed software are updated to their latest versions. This will help in improving the performance of the website and the software as well. On top of that, most patches are for security purposes so it is a good idea to keep everything updated to decrease the chances of any security breach from happening.

Speaking of security, it is a good daily habit to always check security measures in place if they are working. Check for signs of attempted attacks or hacks so they can be dealt with before they succeed in anything.
